Roundstone House Hotel (Vaughans) somewhat of an institution in the area. It is a family run operation providing excellent bar food up to 7pm, please confirm. In the evenings the dining room is a treat to be enjoyed with spectacular views and food quality unmatched locally and rivaled only at the highest level. Hill Walking and mountains

Errisbeg, Roundstone. A short climb but can be steep in places. Easy access at "no dogs" gate. Amazing view.

Twelve Bens. The horse shoe is a full days walk which takes in about 6 of the 12 peaks . Maps are available in Stanleys shop in Clifden along with walking and climbing guide books for many other Connemara mountain and trail walks.

Killary Harbour and Delphi Valley Drive. Take the Lough Inagh Valley route for some of the best scenery in Ireland. Check out "The Field" pub in Leenane.
